Our History
Our delicious story start since 1967
Nicolo's Italian Bakery and Deli was established in 1967 by Nicolo Zecchino. Today, Nicolo's continues to be operated by the Zecchino family. Located in Montclair on Baldwin Street, Nicolo's specializes in Italian Bread for both retail and wholesale customers, homemade lunch and dinner platters for pickup or catering, fresh deli sandwiches and salads, and Italian specialties such as homemade pastas and sauces.
Made and baked fresh daily, we are proud of the acclaim our breads receive from our customers. The uniqueness of our breads has not changed in over 45 years. While we add items to our offerings periodically, we continue to use the same baking principles implemented by Nick in 1967. Nick undertook the trade of baking as a young man, and Nicolo's Italian Bakery and Deli is the culmination of his passion and knowledge for providing the finest baked goods and Italian delicacies.
